SDC Kulachi ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Digital Fard Issuance System (the "Service"). This page explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our platform.

1. Information We Collect

To provide you with digital Fard issuance services, we collect the following data:

Full Name – To identify you as a landowner/applicant.
CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) – Used as your unique identifier for land records and verification.
WhatsApp Number – Used to send you application status updates, approvals, and notifications via WhatsApp Cloud API.
Email Address – Used to send official receipts, document downloads, and system notifications.
Password – Encrypted and securely stored via Firebase Authentication to protect your account.

📄 Fard Documents: Any PDFs or images you upload for your application are stored securely in Firebase Storage. These are only accessed by authorized SDC Kulachi staff for verification.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly for the following purposes:

Account Management – To create and maintain your user profile.
Fard Processing – To link your CNIC with the land record database and generate your digital Fard.
Notifications – To send real-time updates about your application status via WhatsApp and Email.
Customer Support – To assist you with any issues regarding your application.

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal information with third-party advertisers, political entities, or commercial databases.

3. How We Store & Secure Your Data

All your data is hosted on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Authentication, and Storage). We implement enterprise-grade security measures:

Encryption in Transit – All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
Encryption at Rest – Your CNIC and documents are stored in encrypted Firebase databases.
Role-Based Access – Only authorized SDC Kulachi administrators can view sensitive land records.
Automatic Logout – Sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third parties to deliver our Service:

Google Firebase – Provides authentication, database, storage, and cloud functions (hosting our backend logic).
Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API) – Powers the WhatsApp notifications you receive for application updates.

5. Your Rights & Choices

You have full control over your data:

Opt-Out of WhatsApp: Reply "STOP" to any WhatsApp message from us to unsubscribe from all notifications.
Data Access: Contact us to request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Data Deletion: You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data (CNIC, documents, etc.) by emailing us.
Update Information: Log in to your dashboard to update your phone number or email at any time.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days. Backup logs are anonymized and kept for 90 days for audit purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is intended for adult landowners and is not directed toward individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover such data, we will delete it immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or WhatsApp. The latest version will always be published on this page.
